Beyond Vision

The Concept

Beyond Vision was a full brand identity and website project for a visually impaired sculptor. The aim was to create a brand that communicated emotion, texture and story proving that identity can be experienced beyond sight.

Challenge

Design is traditionally visual, yet the client’s audience included visually impaired users. The challenge was to build an identity system that remained strong visually while also prioritising accessibility, clarity and inclusive digital interaction.

Solution

I developed a bold purple-toned identity inspired by the sculptor’s dolphin piece, supported by accessible typography, clear layout hierarchy and an interactive website featuring audio description and an AI chatbot. The result was a brand that works visually, verbally and experientially — reinforcing the idea that creativity extends beyond vision.

Client's
feedback

Jordan approached this project with genuine care and understanding. As a visually impaired artist, accessibility is vital to my work, and he ensured the brand reflected that from the ground up. The identity feels bold yet sensitive, and the website makes my sculptures more accessible to a wider audience. It captures not just what I create, but why I create.
