The Brief

HSP Leigh (Homeless Support Project Leigh) needed a clearer, more recognisable brand identity that could be used confidently across digital and physical touchpoints — helping them communicate their mission, build trust, and increase awareness locally.

Challenge

The existing logo and visuals felt dated and hard to apply consistently. It lacked clarity at small sizes, didn’t translate well across signage and social media, and didn’t reflect the seriousness and compassion of the work HSP does. The identity also needed to feel local to Leigh, while remaining respectful and accessible.

The Solution

I designed a bold, simplified new identity built for real-world use — improving readability, consistency, and impact across print and digital. The refreshed logo system strengthens recognition at a glance, supports clearer messaging, and gives HSP Leigh a more confident platform for awareness campaigns, fundraising, and community engagement. The work has since been adopted and used by the organisation, with HSP inviting me to visit their headquarters to see the branding in action.
